We bought our house 17 years ago the unit is Lennox. We have had a lot of problems with it, mainly fan motors. The thermostat had shorted the first year. The main disconnect went out and it has blown several capacitors. Now the compressor is out, we have not had a/c this season. I have tried to save up the money to buy a new unit but things keep happening. My work van broke down so I had to buy another. Then I almost had the money, but I couldn't get to work. Also, I had to file bankrupcy 7 years ago so the only lenders that will provide a loan want 28 percent interest. I won't do that so we have been toughing it out trying to save the money but life keeps getting in the way. I know there is better days ahead and i'll save up the money but I didn't count on it getting so hot so fast. If I could win this contest, it would be wonderful but I'm sure there are a lot of people more in need than I am. Thank you.
